Home > Storm Updates > Donations Begin to Pour In!

We live in a world of abundance, walk into any grocery store, and the things you need are available at your fingertips, but for the residents of the small caribbean islands of St Thomas and St John, basic essentials are becoming scarce. Food and water have are becoming harder to come by, the things we take for granted such as shelter, gasoline, basic toiletries, even harder!

At VIStrong: Virgin Islands Relief we are doing what we can to make a difference. Donations have begun to pour in from around the country and across the world. Within just 24 hours our Philadelphia based supply staging area had collected 2.5 tons of needed supplies for Hurricane Irma relief efforts in the USVI. We expect even more today as the packages from our Amazon Wishlist begin to make their way to the donation site.

Strangers, friends, family, and loved ones have all asked, how can we help? The answer is simple, follow the link below to our wishlist, take a moment to ship a few supplies and join the hundreds of people who have contributed to the rebuilding of these islands!

Please continue gather supplies and donations and send them to the following address where we have a staged supply drop off with private cargo flights standing by:

VI Strong: Virgin Islands Relief
C/O Atlantic Aviation NE
9800 Ashton Road
Philadelphia PA 19114

We have also created a wishlist of items needed on Amazon so that you can ship items directly to the drop off site! Please see the link below:

    Dear VIStrong,

It looks like the items I am sending will be coming in 4 shipments. My husband and I live in Houston which also has its own problems at the moment. We were fortunate to escape the flooding and damage so many had to endure. I had been going to donate to Houston’s flood relief but with so much help from so many generous people we wanted to send what we could to you. We visited St. Croix last December and were completetly enchanted with its people and beauty! We have plans to visit again soon! Our heartfelt love and best wishes to all in the Virgin Islands for a speedy recovery to Irma’s wrath!

    Sincerely,
    Kim & Chuck Traner
